Accommodation<\/h4>\n

Bergen offers a variety of hotels. The negotiated conference rate at the Radisson Blu has expired, so you may want to explore other options. At the Scandic hotels<\/a> you can use this code ” D000049222″\u00a0<\/strong>for a 10% discount of the rack rate.<\/p>\n

Weather<\/h4>\n

Bergen in September can be both wet and sunny<\/a> A raincoat or a good umbrella may come in handy, but you should not forget your sunglasses either.<\/p>\n

Social events<\/h4>\n

Tuesday will host the conference reception which will take place at Bergen University <\/a>for the usual welcome drink and networking. After that the evening is available to participants to explore Bergen with colleagues and friends.<\/p>\n

Wednesday is official dinner day and\u00a0 will take place at “Fl\u00f8ien”<\/a>. A newly renovated restaurant overlooking the city of Bergen with a magnificent view. We will go there via Fl\u00f8ibanen, a funicular railway that runs from the centre of Bergen to Fl\u00f8yen (320 m above sea level).<\/p>\n

Transfer to\/from the airport<\/h4>\n

Public transportation to\/from Bergen airport includes a “light rail”<\/a>\u00a0 which will take you directly to downtown Bergen. Final stop “Byparken” is 15 min walk from Radisson Blu.<\/p>\n
